Havdalah is a traditional Jewish celebration, marking the end of Shabbat and the beginning of the new week.

In Humanistic Judaism, the braided Havdalah candle represents "the many sources of wisdom and beauty, the uniqueness of each of us, and the strength and power that comes from the coming together of individuals.”

Along with Or Adam members, you’ll participate in a personal and inspiring celebration, speaking and singing words that you can understand and relate to your life.  We use words that enrich you as they celebrate your Jewish identity past and present. Our Havdalah and other celebrations invite participation by all family members. (Check the calendar for dates and details.)

Our Havdalah celebration is a Zoom program so that we can share our activities with our Borderless members from around the world.

After the celebration, we have an open, topical discussion led by one of our members or leaders.

You can contact us by email at info@OrAdamAZ.org if you would like a Zoom invitation.
